A lot of blogs use the "guest blogger" feature to good effect, and we'd like to give it a try. If you would like to do some blogging for a limited period of time (say a couple of weeks or a month) or just want to share some thoughts with an audience of legal ethicists, send me an email. We'd be delighted to add some new voices to the mix!
The "good effect" to which a guest blogger can be used is dependent upon the value and bona fides of the guest blogger. There are many around the blogosphere who call themselves legal ethicists, and would love the opportunity to join the ranks of lawprofs to legitimize their claim.
Please be extremely careful that your offer isn't used to elevate a soundrel to legitimacy. There are many self-proclaimed ethicists who will jump at the chance of claiming that they are an expert because they've been accepted by legitimate ethicists. Better still, select "guest bloggers" based on their qualifications and invite them to come aboard, rather than issue an open invitation.
