Story at Law School Transparency. The possibility of this sort of suit has been has been discussed for several years and it'll be interesting. The heart of the allegations are the school's alleged use of misleading statistics about employment outcomes. The complaint is below.
UPDATE 1: I hadn't noticed that our blog is running an ad for Thomas Jefferson right now, but thanks to the alert reader who noticed it. Yes, fwiw, I do think that misleading stats should be actionable for law schools to the same degree they are for commerical businesses.
One of the attorneys responsible for filing the lawsuit was a former student of blog founder, Prof. John Dzienkowski

I am a TJSL graduate (class of 2007) and have a job. I have alot of debt from law school and knew that getting in (just like all those people who suddenly plead naivete). Getting one isn't hard if you: 1) pass the bar; and 2) aren't lazy. I was there at the same time as this "Alaburda" person. I wonder how many jobs she applied for before filing this lawsuit. Congratulations, Ms. Alaburda, you have made yourself a pawn in a game set up (almost exclusively) for the benefit of the class action attorneys.
