We've been tracking some of the "year in review" posts, such as ours for 2012, the Canadian Ethics Stories for 2012 and now the E-Discovery Year in Review by Josh Gilliland. As noted in that last link, the discovery judge in Santa Clara County (i.e., Silicon Valley) cited Josh's "Bowtie Law" blog on e-discovery issues.
