Famed "true believer" Tony Serra may be heading to jail for tax evasion. It's the second time Serra's had that problem. The sentence will be imposed in July. . . . . USDC Judge Vaughn Walker sentenced trusts and estates lawyer Owen Fiore to 18 months in jail, rather than the home detention Fiore was seeking. Judge Walker signaled that he would have sent Fiore away for even longer, if only the prosecutors had asked for a stiffer sentence. Apparently, the IRS has stepped up enforcement against lawyers, accountants and other tax professionals.
