The widely reported theory -- and I stress that it's just a theory -- is that the firm may have paid some form of kickback to lead plaintiffs in class actions. Here's more speculation about whether or not one of the testifying experts utilized by Milberg Weiss, who entered into a plea bargain for making false statements, has agreed to cooperate with the feds.
