A must-read for legal ethics wonks and for those interested in the intersection of legal process and human rights, David Luban's new book, Legal Ethics and Human Dignity, is now available (at a steep price). Over at Balkinization, Luban outlines the contents, which include a chapter on "The Torture Lawyers of Washington." I won't be able to read it for several weeks, but if anyone has early thoughts, let us know. It would be interesting to read Luban's book in conjunction with Jack Goldsmith's new book, The Terror Presidency.
