Adam Cohen, a prominent journalist on legal issues, is getting a lot of attention for this editorial. He paints a rather dire picture of the future of American law firms, and unlike John Steele's post from yesterday, this story is no April Fool's joke.
And here's a story of more specific interest to legal ethicists. Public Citizen has filed a suit against the Florida Bar, challenging the Bar's strict rules on client testimonials in lawyer advertising. We've commented several times on the Florida Bar's unnecessary war on legal advertising (see, e.g., here). Kudos to Public Citizen for its efforts in both Florida and New York.
