Press release here; new site here. (Disclaimer: I'm teaching at IU this semester.)
It seems to me that we've seen increasing numbers of these centers about the legal profession. Harvard has one, and so do Georgetown, Stanford, Akron, University of St. Thomas, Miami, South Carolina, Cooley, Oxford, and Toronto. Fordham has its Stein Center for Law and Ethics. I'm sure that there must be similar centers out there. If you know of any, please add them to the comments and I will make running edits to this post. Of course, the ABA has its Center for Professional Responsibility.
As I become more aware of these centers, it seems that some are focused on empirical studies of the legal profession and others are focused on professionalism.
