According to the ABA Journal and Above the Law, the Human Rights Campaign has issued a report on how well US law firms address LGBT issues. The report deducts points from the law firm's score if the firm represents clients unfriendly to LGBT issues. Should we give the Human Rights Campaign this year's "Cully Stimson Award"? (To be clear: there really is no such award. Cully Stimson is the former Pentagon appointee who tried to shame law firms from representing Guantanamo detainees.) [edited] Some people love to judge lawyers morally for their choice of clients; some people say that's inappropriate; and some people are inconsistent on the issue.
