Alice Woolley's book, the Canadian edition of Understanding Lawyers' Ethics, has just been published by Lexis/Nexis. Although it has the same title as the U.S. edition, it is based on Canadian authorities and is completely original. As one would expect, the book is clearly written, comprehensive, and filled with insights about Canadian ethics and lawyers' ethics in general. Apart from those interested in Canadian law, anyone interested in comparative lawyers' ethics will find it an important resource.
